May 2024 5.00My husband and I have been staying at Holmes with a View for our annual anniversary trip for several years now and it never disappoints. We have stayed elsewhere a few times but we always go back to Holmes with a View. It is like home away from home with all of its complimentary amenities like fresh homemade bread and iced cinnamon rolls, coffee, tea, popcorn, etc. Cable TV and free WI-Fi are also included as well as a kitchenette with all the appliances, dishes, pots and pans you would need. You can't beat the view if you're looking for peace and quiet. We spent hours sitting on the porch swing watching the cows and horses grazing in the fields. We highly recommend you visit Holmes with a View!

June 2024 5.00Everything is always perfect…….except for one SMALL item…. The toilet is to low, I would guess about 12-14 inches in height. Too high for a midget and too low for someone of normal height. Maybe designed for children. However, reading your guest book it does not appear that many children stay at HWAV. This was our third visit and we like it very much. But, if you ever consider changing the toilets to a 16-18 inch height it would be appreciated. Thanks, Ken
